Role Description The Marketing Communications Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Johore, Malaysia. This role is responsible for planning, developing, and executing integrated marketing and communication campaigns that support hotel branding, guest acquisition, and revenue objectives. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing press releases and media materials, managing social and digital content calendars, coordinating with internal departments and external agencies, and ensuring brand consistency across all communication channels. The role also involves monitoring campaign performance, preparing reports and presentations, managing project timelines and budgets, and supporting PR events, partnerships, and promotional activities. The Marketing Communications Manager will collaborate closely with the regional and corporate marketing teams to align local initiatives with global brand strategies.


Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.
  • Experience in Press Releases and media relations, with the ability to craft compelling stories and manage publicity efforts.
  • Proven expertise in Marketing Communications, including campaign development, brand messaging, and content coordination.
  • Ability in Strategic Communications, with skills in planning, positioning, and aligning messages to business goals.
  • Solid Project Management capabilities, including organizing tasks, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Background in hospitality, tourism, or lifestyle brands is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and basic analytics to track campaign performance.
  • Ability to work on-site, collaborate in a multicultural environment, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
