Beecruit Pte Ltd is partnering with a leading precision manufacturing company to recruit an experienced Manufacturing Engineer supporting high-precision CNC machining operations for the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, verify and optimise Esprit and CamWorks programs for Swiss-type CNC components.
- Perform machine setup, parameter optimisation and first-article inspections to ensure production readiness.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity, quality and manufacturing efficiency.
- Participate in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews to improve manufacturability, cost effectiveness and production yield.
- Create and maintain product Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing routings within ERP systems.
- Troubleshoot machining issues including dimensional variation, tooling performance, surface finish and cycle time optimisation.
- Support quality initiatives through FMEA, Control Plans and SPC activities.
- Maintain process documentation, FAIRs and SOPs while supporting new product introduction (NPI) projects.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent advanced machining qualification).
- Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience with Swiss-type CNC automatic lathes in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, machining processes, tooling selection and process optimisation.
- Experience with Esprit and CamWorks is highly preferred.
- Exposure to 5-axis machining or CAM programming is advantageous.
- Familiar with technical drawings, GD&T and precision machining practices.
- Experience with ERP systems, BOM creation and manufacturing routings is an advantage.
- Proactive, hands-on and comfortable working closely with production teams on the shop floor.
