We're Hiring: Production Manager / Pharmacist – Nuclear Medicine
Beacon Hospital | Nuclear Medicine
We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager / Pharmacist to join our Nuclear Medicine team and lead the production and manufacturing operations of radiopharmaceuticals within a regulated healthcare environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility across production, GMP compliance, quality, equipment, documentation, validation, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily production activities to achieve quality, productivity, yield, cost, and delivery targets.
• Lead the manufacturing operations involving radiopharmaceutical production, cyclotron and cleanroom activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in batch yield, product quality and manufacturing processes for GMP and non-GMP radiopharmaceuticals.
• Ensure production activities, records and documentation comply with applicable GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, qualification and validation activities.
• Work closely with QA, QC, Engineering and other departments to resolve issues and implement continual improvements.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, inventory control and production records are maintained.
• Identify training needs and develop the capabilities of the Production team.
• Promote a strong culture of quality, compliance, safety and operational excellence.
• Evaluate team performance and provide effective cross-functional leadership.
• Support new product development and clinical trial activities, where required.
Requirements
Academic Qualification
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
Experience & Skills
• 4–5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• Technical experience and GMP knowledge will be an added advantage
• Experience in batch record review and pharmaceutical documentation
• Good understanding of regulatory requirements
• Strong crisis management, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Demonstrated cross-departmental leadership and communication skills
• Clinical experience will be an added advantage
