Job Summary

Lead and execute comprehensive automation and manual testing strategies using TOSCA and other tools to ensure high-quality software delivery in banking domain projects. Collaborate with global teams and manage testing activities across project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement overall test strategies and detailed test plans to ensure effective quality assurance.
• Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using TOSCA to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Perform API automation testing and validate results to ensure robust backend functionality.
• Conduct manual testing to complement automation efforts and achieve comprehensive test coverage.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks to support scalable and maintainable test automation.
• Assess feasibility of automation initiatives to optimize testing resources and outcomes.
• Monitor automation execution and analyze test results to identify defects and improvement areas.
• Prepare detailed test reports and disseminate testing best practices within the team to elevate quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate automation and manual testing activities throughout project lifecycles to meet delivery timelines.
• Collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and quality delivery.

Required competencies and certifications

• 10+ years of experience in software testing.
• Proven expertise in TOSCA automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of automation testing processes and methodologies.
• Experience in banking domain testing, including loan origination and credit card processing.
• Experience with Selenium or other open-source automation tools.
• Strong skills in API automation testing.
• Experience in test strategy and planning, test execution, test reporting, automation framework development, feasibility assessment, and automation monitoring.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Experience leading automation and manual testing teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of Java or Python programming languages.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and build automation.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices.
