Key Responsibilities

• Assist the M&E Coordinator in supervising, coordinating, and inspecting M&E works carried out on site.
• Monitor the progress, quality, and workmanship of M&E works undertaken by sub-contractors.
• Ensure all M&E materials and site works are properly handled, stored, and protected.
• Receive, inspect, and verify M&E materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with approved specifications and requirements.
• Ensure sub-contractors use only materials approved by the consultant and comply with project specifications and approved method statements.
• Identify and report any non-conformance relating to workmanship, materials, or site installation to the Project Engineer / M&E Coordinator for necessary action.
• Monitor site activities and ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily site reports, including work progress, manpower, materials, and site issues.
• Assist in ensuring the effective implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) procedures at site.
• Ensure all relevant safety requirements and site safety measures are properly implemented and maintained.
• Coordinate with consultants, sub-contractors, and other site teams to ensure smooth execution of M&E works.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Post Graduate Diploma, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in M&E works, preferably in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of M&E installation, site supervision, quality control, and construction practices.
• Able to read and understand M&E drawings, specifications, and relevant technical documents.
• Good communication and coordination skills with consultants, sub-contractors, and internal project teams.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Willing to be based in Seberang Perai.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
