Job Responsibilities

• Support the review of new clients during onboarding, including enhanced due diligence (EDD) checks under the guidance of the compliance team
• Assist with name screening against sanctions, PEP and adverse media lists and help escalate potential matches for review
• Maintenance of Own Restricted List
• Assist with Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) and periodic client reviews in relation to AML/CFT risk assessments Support AML projects and AI initiatives Conduct research on AML topics for learning and sharing during meetings
• Assist with record keeping, case file preparation and maintenance of audit trails
• Carry out other compliance related tasks as assigned
  
  
  

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree, ideally in finance, business, law, accountancy or a related discipline
• Available for a part/full-time internship (minimum 6 months and 12 working hours/week preferred)
• Interest in compliance, risk or financial crime prevention; prior internship or coursework in a related area is a plus
• Attention to details
• Good analytical, problem-solving and written communication skills
• Proactive, organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and handling confidential information with discretion
