Role Description The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pasir Gudang. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing timber-related engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical, safety, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing project plans and schedules, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, and overseeing installation or construction activities in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders. The Project Engineer will monitor project progress, resolve engineering and site issues, and ensure timely completion within budget. The role also involves communicating regularly with clients, suppliers, and contractors, preparing technical reports, and supporting continuous improvement of project processes.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to industrial and construction environments.
  • Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to coordinate timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Relevant engineering degree or diploma (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field).
  • Experience in industrial, construction, or timber-related projects is an advantage.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, quality control practices, and site supervision.
  • Proficiency with project documentation, reporting tools, and basic engineering software.
