About the role

As a Business Development Assistant Manager, you will support the execution of business growth initiatives across equities and options trading. Working closely with the Business Development Manager and cross-functional teams, you will assist in campaign planning, performance analysis, market research, and partnership coordination to drive client engagement and trading activity.


This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and an interest in capital markets, internet brokerage, and business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of initiatives to drive growth in B2C equities and options trading.
  • Assist in identifying business opportunities through market research, user behavior analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Stay abreast of market developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting equities and options trading. Use insights to make informed strategic decisions.
  • Engage with external partners, clients, and industry contacts to enhance collaboration and identify business opportunities.
  • Assist with various special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Business Development Director.


Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience, with a proven 1–2 years track record in Business Development, Marketing, Campaign Management, Product Management, or related functions within B2C or B2B businesses.
  • In-depth knowledge of equities and options trading, market dynamics, and relevant financial instruments.
  • Proven experience in planning, executing, and analyzing marketing campaigns, particularly in the financial industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new software and tools quickly.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is preferred, as the role will collaborate closely with regional teams in China and Hong Kong.
