Photolab Digital Sdn Bhd (PhotoLab) is the team behind FilmLab and SunSnap. We operate online and retail platforms offering a wide range of film and digital cameras from leading brands, as well as photobooth experiences designed to create and capture memorable moments.

PhotoLab also provides professional photo printing services for creators, studios, and businesses, alongside specialised repair, trading, and refurbishment services for commercial printers.

Role Description

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our team and support the marketing activities of FilmLab and SunSnap.

You’ll work closely with our marketing team on social media content, campaign planning, promotional materials, and day-to-day community engagement. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas and work on projects across film photography, cameras, photobooths, and photo printing.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating content, keeping up with social media trends, and turning ideas into engaging marketing campaigns.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Create and assist with content for Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Help plan, schedule, and manage social media posts.
• Monitor social media performance, engagement, and audience feedback.
• Assist with promotional campaigns, events, and marketing activities.
• Create marketing materials and promotional content.
• Develop creative ideas for FilmLab and SunSnap.
• Engage with our online community and respond to comments and messages.
• Support other marketing projects and activities when needed.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, Design, or a related field.
• Interested in marketing, branding, social media, and content creation.
• Creative, proactive, and willing to contribute ideas.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, and current social media trends.
• Has a good eye for visual content, with an interest in photography or the film community.
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools is a plus.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work on-site in Kuala Lumpur.
• Available for a minimum 3-month internship.

Location: FilmLab KL — Cheras Branch

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
