Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workplace Technology Engineer to support and enhance the organization’s modern workplace environment. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience managing enterprise endpoint technologies. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, securing, and supporting endpoint devices while driving modernization initiatives that improve the employee digital experience.
The Workplace Technology Engineer will work closely with security, infrastructure, service desk, and business teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable workplace technology solutions. This position will work both independently as well as part of a global team.
Key Responsibilities
Endpoint Management & Device Administration
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android device management.
- Deploy and manage device compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployments, and endpoint security policies.
- Manage Windows Autopilot provisioning and device lifecycle processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint management and mobility issues.
- Ensure devices meet organizational security and compliance requirements.
- Create and deploy application installation packages using BMC Client Management and Intune.
Active Directory & Identity Services
- Administer Active Directory objects including users, computers, groups, organizational units, and permissions.
- Design, implement, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to manage workstation and user configurations.
- Support identity and access management initiatives leveraging Microsoft Entra ID.
- Assist with directory synchronization and hybrid identity environments.
Microsoft 365 Workplace Technologies
- Support Microsoft 365 applications and services related to endpoint management.
- Collaborate on Microsoft 365 security and compliance initiatives.
- Participate in workplace technology transformation and cloud migration projects.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain endpoint security baselines and hardening standards.
- Monitor compliance status and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Support vulnerability management, patching, and software update deployment activities.
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to investigate and resolve endpoint security incidents.
Engineering & Automation
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Create technical documentation, standards, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Evaluate and recommend new workplace technologies and best practices.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and rollout of new technologies and services.
Operational Support
- Serve as a Level 3 escalation resource for endpoint and workplace technology issues.
- Support global workplace technology operations and service improvements.
- Participate in problem management activities and root cause analysis.
- Work with outsourced support providers and service desk teams to ensure effective service delivery.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience supporting enterprise workplace technologies.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Microsoft Intune administration experience.
- Experience managing enterprise Active Directory environments.
- Experience creating and troubleshooting Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and hybrid cloud environments.

Education & Certifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
