NCS Solutions Hiring! Full Time Lab Technician in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

Training provided on necessary skills and access to operate assigned tester platforms.

Shift allowance & OT payment provided! Comfortable with working 24 X 7 shift (9/12 hours shift).

Fully on-site.

Operate laboratory equipment, test platforms, analytical tools, and advanced testing systems according to established procedures.

Perform basic/L1 troubleshooting and debugging, and tool maintenance to ensure smooth and continuous operation.

Perform visual inspection of electrical units before testing to identify any obvious defects.

Identify and report issues that may affect testing time, cost, manpower, or overall operations to support root cause investigation.

Escalate issues immediately when they cause or may cause operational downtime.

Monitor and achieve operational targets such as throughput time (TPT) and testing volume while minimizing human-induced damage.

Perform testing activities based on SOPs, RFCs, macros, and operation dashboards; Prioritize testing based on program requirements.

Ensure compliance with HVI, ESD, safety, and laboratory guidelines.

Maintain accurate daily shift logs and report testing status.

Perform proper handover of jobs, units, and testing status to the next shift.

Perform unit segregation and related laboratory support activities.

Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Fresh graduates are welcome!

Comfortable working with laboratory equipment, testing tools, and technical systems.

Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance knowledge is an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Good communication skills and able to work effectively with team members and across different shifts.

Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
