Responsibilities
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative regional finance team and play a key role in driving financial integrity, statutory compliance, and process improvement across multiple markets.
What you'll do
• Partner closely with the Accounting Shared Services team to ensure timely month-end close and high-quality financial reporting.
• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for Thailand and assigned legal entities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, local statutory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• Manage statutory audits, annual filings, regulatory reporting, and external service providers.
• Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analyses.
• Support local tax compliance activities by providing accurate accounting information and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with finance, business operations, HR, payroll, banking partners, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Identify risks, escalate accounting and operational issues when required, and drive timely resolution.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, and continuous enhancement of finance workflows.
What you'll need
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
• 5-10 years of finance and accounting experience, ideally within multinational environments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Thailand accounting and tax requirements; exposure to other Southeast Asian markets is advantageous.
• Professional working proficiency in both English and Thai. Native-level Thai is not required.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced regional environment.
