Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bookkeeper role based in Shah Alam. The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, preparing journal entries, and updating ledgers. The role involves assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reconciling bank and account balances, and monitoring accounts payable and receivable. The Bookkeeper will work with accounting software to process invoices, payments, and expenses, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also includes collaborating with management to provide financial data, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, and supporting external auditors when required.

Qualifications

• Strong bookkeeping skills, including accurate recording of transactions and preparation of journal entries (Bookkeeping, Journal Entries (Accounting))
• Ability to prepare and review key financial reports and statements (Financial Statements, Finance)
• Proficiency in using accounting software and related digital tools (Accounting Software)
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and relevant regulations
• Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role; experience in an industrial or technical services environment is an advantage
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
