Senior HR Executive (HR & Organization Development)
Company Overview
We are a growing Design & Build and Custom Manufacturing group operating in the interior design, construction, and custom furniture industry. As the organization continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR professional to support manpower stability, organizational development, recruitment quality, and internal HR governance across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Handle end-to-end recruitment process for multiple departments
- Improve hiring quality and candidate filtering process
- Conduct interviews and coordinate with HODs on manpower planning
- Build talent pipeline and improve recruitment efficiency
- Reduce poor hiring and high-turnover situations through stronger assessment methods
HR Operations & Employee Management
- Manage full-spectrum HR operations including onboarding, confirmation, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, disciplinary matters, and employee records
- Ensure proper HR documentation and compliance with company policies
- Support management on staff performance monitoring and manpower planning
Organizational & HR Governance
- Assist in developing and improving HR SOPs, KPI systems, confirmation assessment processes, and internal policies
- Monitor organizational manpower risks and staff turnover trends
- Support management in strengthening organizational structure, discipline, and accountability
Employee Relations & Culture
- Handle staff communication, counselling, conflict resolution, and employee engagement matters professionally
- Work closely with management and department heads to improve team stability and working culture
HR Reporting & Management Support
- Prepare HR analysis reports, recruitment reports, turnover analysis, and manpower planning reports
- Provide practical HR recommendations to management based on operational realities and manpower trends
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years HR experience, preferably in SME environment
- Experience handling recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations independently
- Strong judgement in hiring, staff assessment, and people management
- Mature, proactive, organized, and able to work in fast-paced environment
- Able to balance operational execution with management thinking
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, retail, design & build, or operational industry is an added advantage
- Familiar with Malaysia Employment Act and HR practices
- Strong communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written) to effectively communicate with employees, clients and business partners.
