Role Description The Senior Human Resources Leader will oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning to support BAC’s strategic goals. This full time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and frameworks that align with local regulations and institutional values. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing employee relations, partnering with leadership to address staffing and organisational needs, and ensuring fair and consistent HR practices. The role will also oversee compensation and employee benefits programs, drive initiatives related to engagement, learning and development, and change management, and support senior management with HR analytics, reporting, and compliance. The Senior Human Resources Leader will mentor and guide the HR team, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture across the college.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, including strategic workforce planning and operational HR leadership.
- Strong knowledge of HR Policies and local employment regulations, with experience designing and implementing compliant and inclusive HR frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in Employee Benefits administration, compensation structures, and rewards programs that support attraction and retention.
- Proficiency in Personnel Management, including performance management, employee relations, and engagement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
- Proven track record in senior HR roles, preferably within education or service-oriented organisations, with experience leading HR teams.
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and diverse employee groups.
