Responsibilities
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting engineering operations, infrastructure management, technical projects, contractor coordination, regulatory compliance, and operational support activities. The incumbent will ensure the effective planning, coordination, and execution of engineering, maintenance, and operational initiatives while supporting business continuity and organisational objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate engineering operational activities to ensure reliability, availability, and continuity of critical assets and infrastructure.
Plan, monitor, and oversee routine inspection, maintenance, repair, and improvement programmes for operational systems and equipment.
Support implementation of security, emergency preparedness, business continuity, and operational risk management measures.
Develop, track, and manage operational and project budgets while ensuring effective utilization of resources.
Coordinate and manage external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality service delivery and contractual compliance.
Supervise contractors and service personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved standards.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, statutory regulations, organisational policies, and applicable industry standards.
Support execution of engineering improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives.
Drive sustainability, operational excellence, and efficiency improvement programmes.
Maintain accurate operational records, project documentation, technical reports, inspection findings, and asset information.
Support management reporting, presentation preparation, technical evaluations, procurement activities, and tender documentation.
Coordinate stakeholder requests relating to operational support services, technical resources, equipment usage, and infrastructure requirements.
Monitor deployment and integration of operational systems and equipment as required.
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support operational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirement and Qualifications
1 to 3 years of relevant experience in field service, technical support, maintenance, or equipment servicing.
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering operations, technical support, maintenance management, infrastructure operations, or project coordination.
Experience in managing contractors, technical service providers, operational projects, and maintenance programmes.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and related infrastructure.
Knowledge of asset management, maintenance planning, engineering operations, and lifecycle management principles.
Familiarity with project coordination, tender specifications, contractor management, and procurement processes.
Understanding of workplace safety requirements and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Experience in budget planning, cost tracking, expenditure monitoring, and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and computerized maintenance or asset management systems.
