Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in travel operations, tourism, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Good supplier coordination, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Able to manage multiple arrangements, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and able to respond effectively to unexpected operational issues.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to travel when required.
  • Experience with travel booking platforms or CRM systems would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of local and international travel destinations would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to speak additional languages would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Operations Partner is responsible for coordinating and managing end-to-end travel arrangements, ensuring each programme is delivered smoothly and according to client expectations. The role works closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to manage the operational details of tours and travel programmes.

The role also supports supplier coordination, bookings, logistics, documentation, and issue resolution to ensure a seamless travel experience from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end tour and travel operations, including transportation, accommodation, ticketing, activities, and other arrangements.
  • Develop and manage travel schedules and itineraries based on confirmed programme requirements.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their preferences, requirements, and any changes throughout the travel programme.
  • Coordinate bookings and arrangements with hotels, transport providers, restaurants, activity providers, and other suppliers.
  • Communicate with local and international suppliers to obtain quotations, confirm arrangements, and ensure service standards are met.
  • Work closely with internal Sales, Customer Support, Branding, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth operational delivery.
  • Monitor travel arrangements and respond quickly to last-minute changes, operational issues, or unexpected situations.
  • Maintain accurate travel documentation, including itineraries, service agreements, invoices, booking records, and post-tour reports.
  • Follow up closely with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure all confirmed arrangements are delivered according to schedule.
  • Support clients throughout the travel journey and ensure a consistently high level of service.
