Role Description

The Site Safety Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Selangor, Malaysia. This role is responsible for overseeing daily safety activities at the worksite, including monitoring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and project-specific safety plans. The Site Safety Supervisor conducts regular site inspections, identifies potential hazards, and recommends corrective actions to prevent incidents. Daily tasks include organizing and delivering safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site personnel, as well as maintaining safety documentation and records. The role also involves leading accident and incident investigations, coordinating with project management and subcontractors on safety matters, and supporting continuous improvement of safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Health & Safety management and Occupational Health practices on construction, industrial, or engineering sites.
• Ability to conduct and deliver effective Safety Training and toolbox talks to diverse teams.
• Knowledge of Safety Engineering principles and practical application of safety procedures and controls.
• Competence in Accident Investigation, incident reporting, and root-cause analysis.
• Understanding of local safety laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to Selangor, Malaysia.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work on-site, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and influence safe behaviors.
• Minimum Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book) Certification Malaysia
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in occupational safety and health (e.g., NEBOSH, DOSH or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
• Experience in supervising safety on large-scale or high-risk projects is an advantage.
