Clinic Assistant / Paramedic

We are looking for a responsible and patient-friendly Clinic Assistant / Paramedic to join our clinic team.

Most Important Requirement

Candidate MUST have practical experience in setting IV lines / IV drips.

You should be confident in:

• IV cannulation / inserting IV lines
• Preparing and setting up IV drips
• Monitoring patients during IV treatment
• Removing IV cannulas safely after treatment
• Following proper infection control and safety procedures

Job Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with daily clinic operations and patient care
• Prepare patients before consultations and treatments
• Set up and administer IV drips according to the doctor's instructions
• Monitor patients throughout IV treatments and report any concerns immediately
• Check basic vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation and weight
• Assist with blood taking / blood collection if trained
• Prepare treatment rooms, medical equipment and consumables
• Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are clean and properly organised
• Follow infection control, hygiene and clinical safety procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Assist with stock checking and monitoring of medical supplies
• Help with appointment coordination and basic clinic administrative duties when required
• Provide friendly and professional service to patients
• Assist the doctor and clinical team during wellness and medical procedures
• Perform other clinic-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience as a Clinic Assistant, Medical Assistant, Paramedic, Nurse Assistant or similar healthcare role is preferred
• Must know how to set IV lines and IV drips confidently
• Experience with IV cannulation is highly preferred
• Able to handle patients professionally and calmly
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, punctual and willing to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of cleanliness, infection control and patient safety
• Previous experience working in a medical, wellness or aesthetic clinic will be an advantage

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
