Job Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing and delivery coordination.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on pricing, quality, lead time and reliability.
• Request and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Maintain good working relationships with existing suppliers and identify potential new suppliers.
• Monitor inventory and purchasing requirements to avoid shortages or unnecessary purchases.
• Ensure procurement activities are carried out according to company policies and procedures.
• Prepare procurement reports and maintain proper documentation for audit and tracking purposes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Prefer Mandarin speaker is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and stakeholders.
• Good negotiation, communication and supplier management skills.
• Strong attention to detail with good organisational and follow-up skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple purchasing requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with procurement systems or ERP software will be an advantage.
