Job Summary:

The locum speech therapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients on a temporary basis. Key duties include conducting individual or group intervention sessions, developing evidence-based care plans, participating in multidisciplinary team discussions, and managing patient documentation.

Key responsibilities:

• Assessment & Treatment: Conducting diagnostic assessments and providing therapeutic interventions for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Case Management: Developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans and managing patient care documentation.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Participating in team discussions regarding patient progress and rehabilitation goals.
• Discharge Planning: Assisting in creating care plans upon discharge from services.
• Mentorship: Assisting in the training or supervision of therapy assistants, if required.

Payment:

Payment will be made on a per-case basis:

New case: RM220

Follow-up case: RM200

Pay: From RM200.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
