The Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day e-commerce warehouse and inventory operations to ensure efficient stock management, accurate inventory records, proper item arrangement, and smooth movement of goods from the warehouse to support e-commerce fulfilment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Warehouse Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and organisation of the e-commerce warehouse.
- Manage and optimise rack slots and storage locations to maximise warehouse space utilisation.
- Ensure proper item arrangement, categorisation and labelling according to product type, SKU and operational requirements.
- Monitor warehouse organisation to ensure items are easily located, accessed and retrieved.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and operational standards are maintained within the warehouse.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, space utilisation and operational efficiency.
2. Inventory Management Support
- Support the receiving and checking of inventory transferred from JWDC to the e-commerce warehouse.
- Ensure incoming items are properly received, counted, checked and recorded.
- Coordinate with relevant teams regarding discrepancies such as shortages, excess quantities, damaged items or incorrect SKUs.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock movement documentation.
- Monitor stock availability and highlight inventory discrepancies to the relevant team.
- Support regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation exercises.
3. E-Commerce Operations Support
- Coordinate with the E-Commerce team to ensure sufficient stock availability for online orders and promotional activities.
- Support smooth stock movement between warehouse operations and e-commerce fulfilment activities.
- Monitor operational issues that may affect order fulfilment and escalate them accordingly.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely movement and availability of inventory.
4. Team & Operations Coordination
- Lead and monitor warehouse operational activities and ensure tasks are completed according to the required timeline.
- Assign and coordinate daily tasks among warehouse team members where required.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure adherence to established SOPs.
- Identify operational issues and recommend improvements to management.
- Prepare and maintain relevant warehouse and inventory reports.

- Able to lead a team and work effectively with multiple departments.
