Hiring: Senior Software Engineer – Life Asia | Singapore

Role: Senior Software Engineer – Life Asia

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Life Asia/Life400 and Insurance Policy Administration Systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver technical solutions supporting product sales, customer acquisition, servicing, and product launches.
• Work on Core Policy Administration applications, particularly Life Asia/Life400.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable, and cost-effective technical solutions.
• Lead technical delivery of projects, enhancements, integrations, and strategic initiatives.
• Design and support integrations with Sales Portals, Workflow Platforms, Underwriting Engines, Middleware, and customer-facing applications.
• Contribute to technical architecture, solution design, reusable patterns, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Business Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Support environment management, release management, version control, and deployment activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in Insurance / Financial Services.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Core Policy Administration systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Life Asia / Life400.
• Strong understanding of Life Insurance Policy Administration systems and business processes.
• Experience with system/omnichannel integration.
• Knowledge of Underwriting Engines, Workflow Platforms, Sales Portals, Front-End/Mobile Applications, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with MuleSoft or other integration middleware is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Iterative software delivery.
• Strong technical problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
