Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Head of IT is responsible for leading and managing SKA Technology's overall Information Technology operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient IT services that support business operations, software development, office security systems, and digital transformation. The role oversees IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, company website, office security technologies, IT governance, vendor management, and user support.


Job Scope & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the IT Support team, including resource planning, helpdesk operations, and staff development.
  • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, networking, cloud services, Microsoft 365, and enterprise systems.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and compliance with company policies and client requirements.
  • Provide timely IT support to all departments in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Manage the company's website, web hosting, domain names, DNS, SSL certificates, corporate email services, and digital platforms.
  • Support and maintain ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, Project Management, and other business applications while coordinating with the Software Development team.
  • Manage IT assets, software licensing, procurement, vendor relationships, maintenance contracts, and annual IT budgets.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, SOPs, cybersecurity standards, and technology governance.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve business efficiency, automation, and operational performance.
  • Provide reliable IT infrastructure, collaboration tools, development environments, and secure remote access for project teams.
  • Monitor system performance, identify risks, recommend technology improvements, and ensure high availability of critical IT services.
  • Manage all internal office security systems, including Access Control, Time Attendance, CCTV, Visitor Management, Intruder Alarm, Intercom, Smart Office systems, and their integration with the IT infrastructure.
  • Manage user access rights, security databases, preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, and vendor coordination for office security systems.
  • Prepare IT reports, documentation, strategic plans, and continuous improvement initiatives for Management.
