Job Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, and maintain F5 BIG-IP infrastructure in a production environment.
  • Configure and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP LTM and DNS (GTM) solutions.
  • Support application delivery services including load balancing, SSL/TLS, health monitoring, and traffic management.
  • Perform system upgrades, migrations, implementation, and technology refresh activities.
  • Troubleshoot network and application delivery issues to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to support business-critical services.
  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in change management activities.


Requirements

  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Network Infrastructure, F5, or Application Delivery environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • F5 BIG-IP LTM
  • F5 BIG-IP DNS (GTM)
  • F5 High Availability (HA)
  • iRules
  • Good understanding of:
  • Load Balancing
  • DNS
  • SSL/TLS
  • HTTP/HTTPS
  • TCP/IP
  • Application Traffic Management
  • Experience supporting Active-Active and Active-Passive environments across multiple data centres.
  • Experience in F5 implementation, migration, upgrade, or technology refresh projects.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AS3, Declarative Onboarding, or REST APIs is an advantage.
  • Exposure to Azure cloud environments and AI tools such as ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot is a plus.
  • Knowledge of enterprise networking, firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet), and SD-WAN technologies is an added advantage.


Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Strong hands-on technical troubleshooting and implementation experience.
  • Good presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Malaysian citizen or local candidate preferred.
