Job Responsibilities

• Machine Setup and Operation:
• Setup:Prepare wirecut and EDM machines for operation by installing electrodes, setting up workpieces, and configuring machine parameters according to job specifications.
• Operation:
• Operate wirecut and EDM machines to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and shaping parts. Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and adherence to specifications.
• Tooling:
• Select and install appropriate tooling and electrodes for each job. Ensure tooling is properly maintained and replaced when worn.
• CNC Programming:
• Write and edit programs for wirecut and EDM machines using CAD/CAM software. Optimize programs to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• G-Code and M-Code:
• Utilize G-code and M-code for programming wirecut and EDM machines to control movements and operations.
• Inspection:
• Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers and Scope measuring instruments.
• Quality Standards:
• Ensure all machined parts meet or exceed quality and precision standards as specified in engineering drawings and quality control plans.
• Routine Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance on wirecut and EDM machines to ensure they are in good working condition. Clean and lubricate machines as necessary.
• Troubleshooting:
• Identify and resolve issues with machines, tools, or programs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Process Documentation:
• Maintain detailed records of machine setups, tool changes, production runs, and inspections. Document any deviations from standard processes.
• Production Reporting:
• Prepare and present reports on production metrics, quality issues, and machine performance to supervisors and quality control personnel.
• Safety Protocols:
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Job Requirement

1. Min. ITE / Diploma in Mechanical, Engineering related courses or any equivalent.

2. Experience in wirecut and EDM Machines Knowledge

3. CAD/A - CAM Knowledge is plus

4. Min 3-5 years of relevant industry or precision engineering experience.

5. Detail oriented with Wirecut and EDM Machine background.

6. Good verbal and written communication skills.

7. Self-motivated to work independently with team support & minimize guidance.

8. Preferably specializing in Manufacturing/Production operation management or equivalent.

9. Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all time.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per month
