MISC Berhad is looking for a HSSEQ Technical Auditor for a 6-month contract based.
Job Purpose:
To independently plan, coordinate, execute and report project, operational and corporate HSSEQ assurance activities to verify compliance with contractual, regulatory and MISC Offshore Management System requirements. The position supports the Corporate HSSEQ Team in strengthening governance, identifying risks and improvement opportunities, and ensuring effective implementation of Quality, HSSE and management system requirements across MISC Offshore projects and operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and maintain assigned project, operational and corporate audit programmers in accordance with approved audit plans and assurance requirements.
- Prepare audit plans, Terms of Reference (TOR), notifications, audit checklists and audit schedules.
- Conduct independent assurance audits covering engineering, procurement, vendor management, fabrication, construction, commissioning, operations and management system implementation.
- Evaluate compliance against contractual requirements, applicable legislation, ISO Standards, MISC Offshore Business Management System (BMS), HSEMS, PMS, PQMS and other corporate governance requirements.
- Lead audit opening and closing meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify audit findings, non-conformities, observations and opportunities for improvement supported by objective evidence.
- Prepare audit reports, working papers, Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and audit registers in accordance with MISC Offshore procedures.
- Monitor corrective actions and verify effective closure of audit findings through document review, interviews and site verification.
- Maintain audit documentation, records and evidence in accordance with document control and confidentiality requirements.
- Prepare monthly audit status reports highlighting audit progress, outstanding findings, overdue CARs and overall assurance performance.
- Support additional assurance, governance reviews and special assignments as directed by the Director HSSEQ.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Quality and/or HSSEQ assurance within the Oil & Gas, Offshore or EPCIC industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, HSSE or equivalent.
- Experience in project, operational and management system auditing.
- Experience in FPSO/FPU, offshore facilities or major EPCIC projects will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning and operational processes.
- Experience in vendor surveillance, contractor audits and NCR/CAR management.
