Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to work closely with business leaders and employees in supporting people-related priorities and day-to-day HR matters.
The role will partner with assigned business functions to provide HR guidance, support workforce and talent initiatives, manage employee relations matters, and contribute to organizational development and employee engagement programmes. You will also work closely with HR specialist teams to deliver HR initiatives that support business and workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnership
- Partner with business leaders and employees on a broad range of HR and people-related matters.
- Provide practical guidance on HR policies, employment practices and workplace matters.
- Support the delivery of HR plans and programmes aligned with business priorities.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
Workforce & Talent Management
- Support manpower planning, organizational changes and workforce restructuring activities.
- Participate in succession planning, talent development and performance management initiatives.
- Contribute to reskilling, upskilling and job redesign programmes.
- Work with relevant HR teams on recruitment, learning and development, compensation and talent initiatives.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Support employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace investigations.
- Ensure employee matters are handled in accordance with internal policies and Singapore employment requirements.
- Coordinate employee engagement programmes and initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and employee experience.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze workforce information such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, engagement and manpower movements.
- Prepare HR reports and provide insights to support workforce and management decisions.
- Identify workforce trends and recommend practical actions where appropriate.
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in HR transformation, digitalization and process improvement projects.
- Work with HR Centres of Excellence on the implementation of organization-wide HR programmes.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, service delivery and employee experience.
- Support other HR initiatives and responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant HR experience, with solid exposure to an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist function.
- Good working knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, employment legislation and HR practices.
- Experience in employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and organizational development.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees and managers across different organizational levels.
- Good communication, coaching and influencing capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret HR data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Exposure to Workday or other HRIS platforms would be advantageous.
- Resourceful, self-driven and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
