Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of security officers during assigned shifts.
- Ensure the safety and security of customers, staff, tenants, and company assets.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and access control systems.
- Conduct regular patrols of retail premises, entrances, exits, and restricted areas.
- Handle security incidents, emergencies, disputes, and suspicious activities professionally.
- Investigate theft, shoplifting, accidents, or security breaches and prepare incident reports.
- Assist in crowd control during sales events, promotions, and peak operating hours.
- Train and guide junior security officers on security procedures and company policies.
- Ensure all officers comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with store management, mall management, police, and emergency services when required.
- Perform opening and closing security checks of the retail store.
- Maintain records of daily occurrences, visitor logs, and security activities.
- Conduct fire safety inspections and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Respond quickly to alarms, medical emergencies, and fire incidents.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
- Leadership and team supervision
- Strong observation and incident handling skills
- Good communication and report writing
- Knowledge of CCTV and security systems
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies
