WE’RE HIRING: MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA)

Job Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Prepare all equipment required for medical procedures
• Assist Medical Officers during examinations and procedures
• Attend to emergency cases presented to the emergency room
• Perform or assist in wound dressings
• Take and record patients’ vital signs accurately
• Perform all laboratory tests available at Klinik As-Salam
• Manage patient registration, medication preparation, and dispensing
• Carry out clinical procedures proficiently, including:
• Wound dressing
• Venepuncture (taking blood)
• Nebulization
• IV drip procedures
• Toilet & suturing assistance
• CBD insertion & removal
• Eye irrigation
• Nail avulsion
• Other relevant procedures as required by clinic operations
• Assist doctors in the consultation room when needed

Operational Duties

• Assist with monthly stock-taking activities
• Maintain a presentable and professional appearance at all times
• Handle patients’ inquiries with courtesy, empathy, and professionalism
• Attend regular trainings organized by the Human Resource / Training Department

Requirements

• Diploma in Medical Assistant / related qualification
• Registered with the relevant board (if applicable)
• Responsible, proactive, and able to multitask
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
