Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Encap Technician with experience in semiconductor encapsulation (Encap) processes and Asymtek dispensing machines. The successful candidate will support daily production, machine operation, process monitoring, troubleshooting, and process improvement activities to ensure stable production and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up Asymtek dispensing machines for Encap/encapsulation processes.
• Perform machine setup, parameter adjustment, product changeover, and process verification.
• Carry out daily Encap production according to work instructions and process specifications.
• Monitor dispensing parameters, material conditions, and process performance.
• Troubleshoot Asymtek machine and Encap process issues and escalate major problems to the Engineer.
• Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, calibration checks, and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks.
• Support process trials, engineering builds, new product introduction, and qualification activities.
• Identify process abnormalities and assist in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate production, process, and machine records.
• Work closely with Engineers, Production, Equipment, and QA teams to resolve process and quality issues.
• Follow company safety, ESD, cleanroom, quality, and 5S requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma, Certificate, or Technical qualification in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in Encap/Dispensing processes.
• Hands-on experience operating Asymtek dispensing machines is highly preferred.
• Familiar with semiconductor assembly and encapsulation processes.
• Able to perform basic machine troubleshooting and parameter adjustment.
• Good understanding of process control and quality requirements.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work in a shift-based manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

• Asymtek machine operation and setup.
• Encap / dispensing process experience.
• Epoxy or silicone dispensing experience.
• Machine troubleshooting and basic preventive maintenance.
• Semiconductor assembly process knowledge.
• Basic SPC and process monitoring knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
