JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support long-term IT and data migration projects. This role will work closely with business users, IT teams, application teams, and regional stakeholders to support data analysis, database review, migration activities, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Excel, databases, and data migration projects, with the ability to work independently and manage migration-related business analysis activities from requirement gathering through execution support.

About The Job

  • Act as the Business Analyst for application migration and data migration projects.
  • Work closely with business users, technical teams, application owners, and regional stakeholders to understand project requirements and business needs.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and manage both business and technical requirements related to migration activities.
  • Analyze existing data structures, databases, and application dependencies to support migration planning and execution.
  • Perform data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and reporting activities using SQL and Excel.
  • Support migration-related activities, including data mapping, data cleansing, validation, issue tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and migration risks, and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for project teams.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure migration deliverables are completed accurately and within project timelines.
  • Support testing activities such as User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test preparation, test scenario creation, defect tracking, and validation support.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, status updates, and migration-related materials.
  • Work independently in a senior Business Analyst capacity with minimal supervision while ensuring alignment across business and technical teams.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
  • Around 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, IT Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong experience supporting data-related application projects and migration initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Strong Excel skills, particularly for reporting, data analysis, mapping, validation, and tracking purposes.
  • Experience working with databases, data migration projects, or application migration activities.
  • Good understanding of IT project delivery processes and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, especially in data-related environments.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
