Role Summary

As a Junior Legal Counsel in Singapore, you will support XG Tech's day-to-day legal and corporate matters, including contract management, corporate filings, compliance, and legal documentation. You will work closely with the Legal team and internal stakeholders to ensure legal matters are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and manage routine contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, vendor agreements, and other simple commercial documents.

  • Track contract execution, signing status, and filing; maintain organised legal records, contract databases, and standard templates.

  • Assist with company filings, corporate secretarial matters, and ongoing corporate maintenance activities.

  • Support compliance-related work, including KYC, basic due diligence, internal compliance records, and other legal documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on routine legal and corporate matters.

  • Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Legal team, including document management and other ad hoc legal assignments.

  • Collaborate closely with the Legal team and relevant business functions to ensure legal matters are followed up efficiently and accurately.

How will you stand out

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Law or a related discipline.

  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, with strong reading comprehension.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different functions and locations.

  • Detail-oriented, organised, and responsible, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

  • Familiarity with common office software and basic AI tools; willingness to leverage technology to improve work efficiency.

  • Strong learning ability and a practical, proactive approach to handling legal and administrative matters.
