AIMA Labs Hiring! Full Time Software Engineer in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

Hiring a Software Engineer for developing and maintaining AI CMS (Clinic Management Software).

Core stack: Python, Django/FastAPI, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS.

You may also work with: Kubernetes, Terraform/IaC, LLM/RAG/Agentic frameworks, observability tooling and various third-party/legacy integrations, Whatsapp Business API, Instagram, Line API and similar.

Implementing and supporting a Clinic Management Panel that powers clinics in Malaysia - Dental, General Practice and Aesthetics. This includes:

• General features like appointments, staff handling, branches management and admin side.
• AI-enabled appointment/FAQ chatbot with PDPA compliance, so advanced RAG/Guardrails.
• AI-enabled integrations with local legacy websites.

What we expect of you:

• Development experience, preferably before AI. Solid fundamentals in computer science, Linux and relational databases.
• Strong ability to code, familiarity with patterns, common concepts and Python/Javascript.
• Experience with, or willingness to learn and take ownership of: DevEx/Lifecycle processes, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, logging/observability, etc.
• Ability to validate your own work in the AI era: run systems locally, test features end-to-end, inspect logs, reproduce issues, and verify that the implementation actually works.
• Familiarity with coding agents.
• Strong async and synchronous communication. You are expected to be reachable during agreed working hours, communicate blockers early, and keep the team updated on progress.
• Ownership: you are expected to become the go-to person for certain parts of the technology stack and application, and take responsibility for their quality and reliability.
