Head of Administration
This is not a traditional administration role.
MRT Corp is looking for a senior operational leader to transform how our workplace, facilities, fleet and administration services enable the organisation to perform.
Reporting to the Chief of People & Efficacy, the Head of Administration will provide strategic leadership across Workplace Operations, Fleet Management & Logistics, Workplace Services and Administration Excellence.
The mandate is broad: deliver reliable day-to-day operations while raising service standards, strengthening governance, improving cost efficiency and using continuous improvement and digitalisation to build a more responsive, customer-centric Administration function.
Your Mandate
You will:
- Lead workplace facilities, infrastructure, maintenance, security, cleaning, M&E services and statutory compliance across MRT Corp offices.
- Drive workplace planning, refurbishment, office optimisation and business continuity readiness.
- Lead fleet and transport operations, including vehicle utilisation, maintenance, safety, compliance, logistics and replacement strategies.
- Oversee front-of-house and workplace services and establish clear service standards and customer experience measures.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, operational dashboards and service performance.
- Lead digitalisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives across Administration.
- Strengthen governance, audit readiness, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Manage budgets, contracts, outsourced service providers and vendor performance.
- Build the capability and performance of a multidisciplinary Administration team.
- Work closely with senior leaders and functions across MRT Corp to continuously improve workplace and operational service delivery.
What You Will Bring
- Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' leadership experience within administration, facilities, workplace operations or corporate services.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary operational teams and outsourced service providers.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management, fleet operations, procurement governance and workplace services.
- Demonstrated experience delivering transformation, service improvement or operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong vendor, contract, financial and commercial management capability.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and across multiple business functions.
- Strong communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution.
- A data-driven and results-oriented approach, with a genuine focus on service quality and continuous improvement.
The Leader We Are Looking For
- You will be comfortable moving between strategy and operations.
- One day may involve reviewing workplace or fleet performance and challenging an SLA; another may involve solving a service issue, presenting an improvement proposal to senior management, leading a refurbishment initiative or redesigning an inefficient process.
- Most importantly, you will bring the drive to improve what already exists rather than simply administer it.
Note: We offer a 2-year fixed term contract with competitive benefits and the option for renewal based on performance.
