Job Description:

• Teach small group or one-on-one music classes for children aged 2–4+.
• Maintain classroom order and ensure the safety of the children as well as the smooth delivery of lessons.
• Prepare and conduct lessons (teaching materials and lesson plans are provided; class content includes singing games, rhythm training, and musical ear / aural development).
• Communicate with parents after class to report on students’ performance and progress.
• Demonstrate care, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility, while fostering a positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Hold an ABRSM Grade 8 certificate (or equivalent) in any instrument.
• Possess a background in music-related education (not limited to university degrees) or a background in early childhood education (including early childhood education, early childhood music education, or related work experience). Preference will be given to candidates with either.
• Able to attend classes regularly, and be punctual and reliable.
• Passionate about teaching and enjoy working with children.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to teach in Cantonese and basic English.
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant teaching experience or a background in early childhood education.

• Location: Hung Hom
• Hourly rate: HK$70 or above (actual pay depends on experience and number of students)
