Role Description The Clinic Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Selangor, Malaysia. This role is responsible for overseeing daily clinic operations, including patient scheduling, reception functions, and coordination between clinical and administrative staff. The Clinic Administrator manages administrative processes such as maintaining medical records, handling billing and payments, supporting budgeting activities, and ensuring compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations. The role also involves supervising and training support staff, monitoring patient service quality, resolving operational issues, and supporting the clinic’s leadership in implementing workflows and process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient experience.


Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills to manage patient interactions, address inquiries, and support a positive patient experience.
  • Ability to assist with budgeting, basic financial tracking, and resource allocation for clinic operations.
  • Competence in managing medical records, including accurate documentation, secure storage, and adherence to confidentiality requirements.
  • Experience in training and guiding clinic staff on operational procedures, service standards, and administrative workflows.
  • General understanding of medicine or dental care processes to support coordination between clinical staff and patients.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in basic office software and clinic management systems; comfortable learning new digital tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language proficiency relevant to the local community is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, dental, or clinic administration setting is preferred.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is beneficial.
