The Universe Classroom Hiring! Full Time Part-Time Student Care Tutor (Flexible Schedule) in - Ricebowl

We are looking for responsible and committed Part-Time Student Care Tutors to join our team on a long-term/permanent basis.

This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy working with primary school students and are confident in guiding them academically.

Salary

$14 – $16 per hour, depending on academic qualifications and relevant experience.

• Standard starting rate: $14 – $15/hour
• 1st week (Training): $11/hour
• Subsequent 1-month probation: $12.50/hour

Working hours:
Monday to Friday — minimum commitment of 1 regular weekday per week

Available shifts:

• 1.15pm – 5.00pm
• 1.15pm – 6.00pm
• 4.00pm – 6.00pm

Applicants who are able to commit to more weekdays are welcome.

Job Responsibilities

1. Academic Coaching (4.00pm – 5.30pm)
This is our main intensive academic period. Tutors will be provided with the relevant syllabus, teaching materials and answer sheets to guide, mark and go through assigned work with a group of up to 15 students.

2. Homework & Revision Supervision
Supervise and guide students in completing:

• School homework
• Spelling/听写
• Assigned revision work

3. Daily Student Supervision

• Check students' school bags and homework requirements
• Ensure assigned work is properly completed
• Maintain a conducive and orderly learning environment

4. Student Care Duties

• Assist with the distribution of meals/snacks
• Fetch students from nearby primary schools when required
• Assist with general student supervision and daily routines

Minimum Requirements

• GCE A-Level, Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Current Diploma students may also apply, subject to our selection process
• Relevant tutoring, teaching or student care experience is an advantage, but not required
• Able to communicate well with and manage primary school students
• Responsible, patient and committed
• As this is a permanent part-time position, applicants should be able to commit to a regular weekly schedule on a long-term basis

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
