About the Role

MYSES is looking for a MES & Automation Integration Engineer to support the integration of AMR, OHT and automated material handling systems with customers’ MES, WMS and manufacturing equipment. The role works closely with customers, automation engineers and technology partners to ensure reliable communication between factory IT systems and automation equipment, from system design and configuration through commissioning and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure and support MES/WMS integration with AMR, OHT and AMHS systems.
• Understand customer manufacturing processes and translate requirements into automation system interfaces.
• Configure and troubleshoot communication between MES/WMS, AMR/AGV/OHT, stockers, conveyors, manufacturing equipment and lift systems.
• Work with SECS/GEM, E84, TCP/IP, REST API and other industrial communication protocols.
• Support AMR/OHT routes, stations and material-handling workflow integration.
• Perform system integration testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and customer buy-off.
• Support data mapping, message/interface configuration and system parameter setup.
• Troubleshoot communication failures between MES, automation systems and equipment.
• Work with customer IT/MES teams and equipment vendors to resolve integration issues.
• Participate in customer site installation, commissioning and production support.
• Prepare interface specifications, test procedures, system documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Provide technical support and training to customers and internal engineers.
• Work with overseas technology partners when required.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics or related fields.
• Experience in MES, WMS, automation system integration or industrial IT is preferred.
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SECS/GEM, E84, MES, WMS, AMHS, AMR/AGV or OHT is highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, APIs and TCP/IP networking.
• Able to understand system architecture, communication flow and interface requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with customers, vendors and technical teams.
• Willing to travel to customer sites in Malaysia and overseas.
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge and strong interest in automation are encouraged to apply.
