Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer – Dairy Products
• Position Title: QC Executive
• Working Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon to Fri: 8:00am – 5.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct production start-up, changeover, first-off, and scheduled quality checks.
• Perform hygiene, GMP, raw material, and finished product inspections.
• Manage rejected materials and products, including documentation and corrective actions.
• Verify raw material Certificates of Analysis (COA) against specifications.
• Prepare finished product samples and coordinate laboratory testing.
• Review, record, and maintain laboratory test results and quality documents.
• Conduct raw material sampling and maintain accurate sampling and billing records.
• Perform environmental and hand-swab testing, analyse trends, and follow up on abnormalities.
• Prepare R&D, customer, reference, trial, and retention samples.
• Maintain laboratory inventory, sample records, cleanliness, and organisation.
• Prepare samples, QP forms, and supporting documents for SFA testing and export certification.
• Maintain Halal documentation and submit certification applications for new materials and products.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and production teams on material availability and pre-production checks.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Diploma in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• At least 1–2 years of QC experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, Halal requirements, and food safety systems.
• Able to work in production and warehouse environments and handle loads of up to 25 kg when required.
• No known allergies to milk or soy products due to workplace exposure.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
