JobDescription: EHS Associate
PositionSummary
The EHS Associate / Coordinator will support day-to-day site EHS operations,compliance readiness, training coordination, documentation, and project safetyactivities within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role is suited fora hands-on candidate with 2–4 years of EHS experience who can coordinate acrossfunctions, support contractor and brownfield expansion activities, trackactions to closure, and contribute to a strong safety culture.
KeyResponsibilities
1. EHS Program, Administration, and ContinuousImprovement Support
· Coordinate assigned EHS programs androutine site activities, including planning, meeting coordination, actiontracking, stakeholder follow-up, reporting, and timely closure of deliverables.
· Support site EHS objectives, safetycampaigns, Serious Injury and Fatality Prevention initiatives, safetystand-downs, hypercare activities, and continuous improvement projects bytranslating plans into practical actions.
· Assist in monitoring EHS performanceindicators, consolidating updates, highlighting overdue actions, and preparingsimple reports or dashboards for management review.
· Follow up with process owners,contractors, and functional teams to resolve EHS gaps, overdue actions, andrecurring observations in a timely and practical manner.
2. EHS Data,Systems, Documentation, and Compliance Readiness
· Maintain accurate EHS data, records,and trackers in Cority, Humantech, INCA, GETS, SharePoint, Smartsheet, orequivalent systems, ensuring information is complete, current, and traceable.
· Prepare and maintain audit evidence,regulatory inspection materials, compliance documentation, training records,permits, inspection logs, and other controlled EHS documents.
· Support basic compliance checksagainst site procedures, internal standards, global standards, and applicableSingapore Workplace Safety and Health requirements.
· Assist in identifying documentationgaps, consolidating evidence, and supporting readiness for internal audits,external audits, regulatory inspections, and management reviews.
3. EHSTraining, Communications, and Culture Building
· Deliver the assigned EHS training(eg: ergonomic and LOTO related), briefings, toolbox talks, and awarenesssessions to reinforce EHS requirements and safe work practices.
· Support EHS communications, intranetcontent, engagement activities, campaigns, and awareness programs thatreinforce expected behaviors and strengthen safety culture.
· Prepare communication materials,safety alerts, learning summaries, and campaign updates as required
· Track training completion, follow upon overdue learning items, and support refresher training needs for employees,and relevant site personnel.
4. Audit,Inspection, Incident, Risk, and CAPA Support
· Coordinate EHS audits, workplaceinspections, incident follow-ups, gap-analysis CAPA activities, findingsconsolidation, closure tracking, and related stakeholder communications.
· Support monthly high-risk gembaactivities, workplace safety and health committee meetings, incidentinvestigations, risk assessment reviews, and follow-up actions.
· Support industrial hygiene samplingcoordination, ergonomics evaluations, and chemical management activities,including chemical approvals and regulated chemical cycle counts.
· Participate in workplace walkdowns toidentify unsafe conditions, at-risk behaviors, housekeeping issues, andopportunities to strengthen existing controls.
· Support EHS programs such as LOTO byconducting monthly permit reviews to verify task compliance.
· Assist in documenting incident facts,collecting supporting information, identifying immediate containment actions,and tracking corrective and preventive actions to closure.
5.Laboratory, Operations, Contractor, Change Management, and Project Support
· Provide EHS coordination,documentation, safety walkdown support, and follow-up for laboratory,operations, facilities, engineering, and functional teams.
· Support compliance with site safetyrules, procedures, policies, permit-to-work expectations, contractor safetyrequirements, and Singapore Workplace Safety and Health requirements, includingexternal audit or inspection support as needed.
· Assist with EHS change management,pre-start-up safety reviews, pre-energization walkdowns, capital projectreviews, risk assessment reviews, method statement reviews, and actiontracking.
· Help review routine work activitiesfrom an EHS perspective, including contractor activities, laboratoryoperations, maintenance tasks, and project-related changes, under guidance fromthe EHS Senior Manager/designee.
· Support the manufacturing sitebrownfield expansion project by participating in EHS reviews from basis ofdesign through construction, commissioning, start-up, and handover.
· Assist with design safety reviews,safety walkdowns, action tracking, and handover documentation to help protectongoing operations and ensure a controlled transition to routine us

Required Qualifications
· Diploma or degree in EHS,Engineering, Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related discipline.
· 2–4 years of relevant EHS, safetycoordination, or operations support experience.
· Experience in regulatedmanufacturing, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, shipyard, laboratory, facilities,engineering, or technical environments preferred.
· Registered WSHO will be an addedadvantage.
Key Competencies
· Working knowledge of EHS systems,risk assessment, audits, CAPA, permit-to-work, contractor management, and WSHrequirements.
· Strong coordination, communication,documentation, data management, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
