Location: One North, Yuen Long, Hong Kong (2026–2028); Main Contractor Site Office, Yuen Long (from 2028 onwards)

Reporting to: Project Director / BIM Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive BIM E&M Coordinator to oversee the implementation, management, coordination, and production of BIM deliverables for 2–3 government infrastructure projects in Hong Kong. This is a key role that bridges design, construction, and facility management, ensuring that all BIM outputs meet client expectations and project standards.

The ideal candidate will not only drive project execution but also continuously earn positive feedback from clients through proactive communication, technical excellence, and effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Communication & Requirements Management

• Accurately interpret and communicate client requirements to the project team.

• Ensure all BIM deliverables comply with established standards, submission protocols, and acceptance criteria.

2. Team Coordination & Workflow Management

• Assign tasks to team members based on project priorities and individual capabilities.

• Develop phased delivery schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion.

3. BIM Model Management & Quality Assurance

• Integrate, version-control, and conduct quality checks on multi-disciplinary BIM models (Architectural, Structural, MEP).

• Administer and maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) platform to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

4. BIM Execution Plan (BEP) Development

• Assist in the development, implementation, and periodic review of the project-specific BIM Execution Plan (BEP).

5. Coordination Meetings & Conflict Resolution

• Organise and chair BIM coordination meetings with internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants.

• Identify, track, and resolve clashes and interface issues across all disciplines.

6. Training & Mentorship

• Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance to team members on BIM software, workflows, and project-specific protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, or related discipline.

• 3–7 years of relevant working experience in BIM coordination, preferably in government or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Professional Certifications (Mandatory)

• Must hold one of the following recognised BIM certifications:

  • HKIBIM (Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modelling)

  • CCBM (CIC Certified BIM Manager)

  • CCBC (CIC Certified BIM Coordinator)

Technical Skills

• Proficient in BIM authoring and coordination tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360/ACC).

• Familiarity with CDE platforms and document management systems.

• Knowledge of local building regulations, statutory submission procedures, and government BIM standards is an advantage.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders.

• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

• Proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
