Responsibilities

POSITION: Land Surveyor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct land surveys using GPS, total stations, levels, and other surveying instruments to gather accurate data on land features, boundaries, and topography.
  • Perform boundary surveys, construction staking, topographic surveys, and as-built surveys as required by the project.
  • Ensure all survey work is conducted in accordance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret survey data to create detailed maps, plans, and reports.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to process and visualize survey data.
  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in surveying techniques, equipment usage, and data interpretation.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges encountered during survey operations.
  • Ensure all survey work adheres to industry standards and best practices.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of survey results.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of survey activities to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and develop corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure all survey activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the survey team.
  • Assist in the development of survey plans, schedules, and budgets for construction projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align survey activities with project timelines and objectives.
  • Monitor progress, track expenses, and report on survey project status to management and clients.
  • Work closely with survey assistants and junior surveyors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the survey team.
  • Encourage professional development and skill enhancement among team members.
  • Special Assignments: Handle special projects and assignments as directed by senior management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Must be a CIDB green card holder.
  • Minimum two (2) years working experience in Project Construction, in similar position or related working experience.
  • Preferably candidates with extension working experience in construction management, development professional, highly competent to resolve all construction issues for fast-track projects.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures, technical and project management principles.
  • Good leadership and interpersonal skill to communicate with other team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
