AECOM Hiring! Full Time Electrical Engineer- Cable in - Ricebowl

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

• Overall 5+ years of work experience is preferred.
• Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Structural, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution. 
• Registered with Board of Engineer (BEM) and preferable Professional Engineer with Practice Certification status.
• Previous experience in HV Cable OEM design teams working for Grid Utilities (for e.g., National Grid, Trans grid, PowerGrid etc.,) for Underground HV Cables design is highly desirable
• Exposure to International standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, Australian Standards and Middle East region codes and standards) is preferred
• Previous design experience working with CYMCAP or other similar software tools for EHV/HV AC and DC Cable Ampacity calculations, EMTP Calculations and modelling expertise is highly desirable
• Chartership with IET-UK or equivalent is desirable
• Fluent English language skills (both written and oral)
