DSTA Hiring! Full Time Engineer-Senior Engineer (Unmanned Aircraft) in - Ricebowl

We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test and operationalise capabilities with game changing technologies for national security.

Examples include

• Advanced military UAV systems (ranging from micro- to medium-sized and strategic-class UAVs) that are capable of deployment across various mission profiles and different Services (Air Force, Army, Navy)
• Developmental UAV Systems that are specially designed and customised to meet SAF’s unique needs
• Experimenting with innovative drone deployment concepts

SCOPE OF WORK

You will work in a cross-disciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, and hone your knowledge of Unmanned Aircraft to:

• Develop, test, and deliver game-changing engineering solutions
• Architect and integrate best-of-breed systems worldwide to deliver cohesive capabilities (such as integration to Command and Control Systems for overall situation awareness and mission planning capabilities)
• Experiment, evaluate and induct new technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence and Autonomy) for operationalisation
• Ensure products meet the highest standards of airworthiness, performance, safety and reliability
• Collaborate and co-develop technologies with leading organisations, companies and research institutions from both Singapore and internationally

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science
• Innovative and willing to learn new skills and expand into exciting new tech domains
• Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a can-do spirit
• Willing to travel for overseas work trips
