Job Purpose

We are looking for a Technician to support daily production and manufacturing activities by performing equipment setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, testing and technical support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily setup, operation and maintenance of production equipment, machinery and tools.
• Carry out troubleshooting and corrective actions for equipment or production-related issues.
• Perform basic electrical, mechanical and technical repairs when required.
• Conduct testing and inspection of products, equipment and components according to work instructions and specifications.
• Assist in equipment installation, commissioning and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure production equipment and work areas are maintained in good working condition.
• Identify and report equipment abnormalities, defects or breakdowns to the supervisor.
• Support production activities to achieve daily production targets and schedules.
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions and safety requirements.
• Maintain proper records of equipment maintenance, repairs, testing and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist Engineering and Production teams in resolving technical and operational issues.
• Ensure tools, equipment and materials are properly handled and maintained.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and equipment reliability.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Perform other technical and ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or a related technical field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic or mechanical systems.
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting and use common hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, manuals or work instructions.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Responsible, disciplined and able to work independently.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Working Environment

Pay: From RM2,200.00 per month
