Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform rework, repair and modification of non-conforming or defective products according to work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot product defects and identify possible causes of failure.
  • Perform component replacement, adjustment and repair as required.
  • Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions and technical specifications.
  • Conduct inspection and functional checks after completing rework activities.
  • Assist in failure analysis and root cause investigation for product issues.
  • Use hand tools, testing equipment and rework tools safely and correctly.
  • Record rework activities, defects, repair details and results accurately.
  • Escalate complex or recurring issues to the Engineering, Quality or Production team.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
  • Ensure tools, fixtures and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (CIP) activities.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to resolve product issues.
  • Follow company SOP, safety and quality requirements.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • SKM Level 3 and above in:
  • Electrical
  • Electronic
  • Mechanical
  • Mechatronics
  • or other related technical fields.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with experience in rework, repair, troubleshooting, manufacturing, electronics assembly or semiconductor production will have an added advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical or electromechanical systems.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings, schematics and work instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools, testing equipment or rework equipment is an advantage.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Responsible, disciplined and committed to good attendance.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willing to work on rotating shifts.
  • Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when required.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: RM2,200 – RM2,500 depending on experience and skills

  • Meal Allowance: RM5/day
  • Transportation Allowance: RM100/month
  • Attendance Allowance: RM100/month
  • Day Shift Allowance: RM9/day
  • Night Shift Allowance: RM20/day
  • Medical Claim: RM58.40

Work Schedule

  • Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM
  • 4 days working week
  • Overtime may be required based on production requirements
