Job Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Supervise and manage daily operations on the construction site.
- Ensure construction activities are executed according to project plans, specifications, and standards.
- Monitor progress and performance of construction activities and adjust as needed.
- Technical Oversight:
- Interpret and explain technical drawings, shop drawings, and schematics to site workers/labour.
- Resolve any technical issues or discrepancies in plans.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Liaise with engineers, managers, and other construction professionals to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and changes to project managers.
- Facilitate meetings and site inspections with relevant parties.
- Quality Control:
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that construction meets required standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
- Address and rectify any defects or non-compliance issues.
- Safety Management:
- Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment on-site.
- Conduct safety audits and provide training to site workers on safety procedures.
- Report and investigate accidents or incidents that occur on-site.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any changes to the project scope.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers.
- Document and track site issues, changes, and resolutions.
- Resource Management:
- Manage and coordinate the use of resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure that materials are delivered on time and used efficiently.
- Monitor and control project costs to adhere to budget constraints.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Willingness to travel to different sites as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience as a site or project engineer in HVAC industry
- Strong knowledge of HVAC construction.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and other software.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
