Ambition Hiring! Full Time Production Engineer (DevOps - SRE) in - Ricebowl

I'm partnering with a leading global hedge fund to look for a Production Engineer to join their Singapore team. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving production challenges, automating manual processes, and improving the reliability of business-critical systems.

The role focuses on three key areas:

• Engineering & Automation & AI: Develop automation, AI-powered operational solutions, internal tooling, and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and streamline production support.
• System Observability: Proactively monitor and improve the health, performance, and reliability of production systems.
• Production Operations & EUC Support: Resolve production incidents, provide regional EUC support, and continuously improve operational processes through automation.

Requirements:

• Experience in Production Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Production Support.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred, but any modern language is welcome), with experience building automation or internal tools.
• Hands-on experience supporting production environments, troubleshooting incidents, and improving system reliability.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, LGTM stack) to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability of production systems.
• Strong DevOps and CI/CD tooling and release automation experience
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset, continuously seeking opportunities to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
• Experience within financial services, investment banking, or trading environments is highly regarded.
• Comfortable participating in a rotating early-shift support schedule (approximately one week per month).
