Equalbase Hiring! Full Time Facilities Technician in Johor - Ricebowl

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Property & Facilities Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance and operations of our facilities at PTP I & II. The role will handle preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot M&E and building systems, coordinate with contractors, and support the Facilities Executive and AFM Manager in ensuring the facilities remain safe, clean, and operational. The ideal candidate is proactive, practical, and technically competent, with good troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Troubleshoot/repair facilities equipment and quality failure (M&E system & Building Fabric)
• Assist to plan, schedule, and coordinate all building, mechanical and electrical maintenance programs and upgrading works.
• To identify & report, whenever there are any potential operating problems for any maintenance work immediately without delay.
• Manage Addition & Alteration work with contractors to meet timely delivery.
• Ensure buildings are always maintained to a good standard of cleanliness.
• To ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.
• Assist to prepare work progress report for Management upon required.
• Any other tasks, when required by Facilities executive

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Carry out troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with maintenance schedules and SOPs.
• Update maintenance records in the CMMS.

Building Services

Maintain and support:

Not limited to HVAC systems, Fire Protection Systems, Plumbing & Sanitary Systems Water Pumps, Access Control System, CCTV, Loading Bay Equipment, Dock Levellers, Roller Shutters, building infrastructure, roofing maintenance, OSD, STP maintenance.

Team Support

• Assist the Facilities Executive or FM Manager in daily operations.
• Participate in after-hours standby and emergency support when required.

Job Holder Requirements

• Diploma or in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of facility related experience in building & facility maintenance industry
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, logistics, or critical facilities.
• Excellent troubleshooting technical skills, self-motivated and ability to logically thinking & analysis skills will be an advantage
• Good Attitude, independent, team player & Self motivated
